Have you ever considered turning your practice into one that only accepts cash for payment? Today’s expert, Jarod Carter, PT, DPT, MTC has done exactly that. His Austin, Texas based physical therapy clinic, Carter Physiotherapy operates fully on a cash-based model. He shares some of the secrets to running a cash-based physical therapy clinic in this week’s podcast.
His clinic is a one-man operation with a simple set-up including a small waiting room and a private room with treatment table. Currently, he offers manual therapy and uses no modalities or exercise equipment. Carter spends a full hour one-on-one with each patient and relies on hands-on techniques to help patients get better faster. Thanx Jarod! This cash-based model really MAKES SENSE for russian PTs.
I LOVED listening to this podcast. As someone who created solely cash-based, single-provider PT business with hour long 1:1 treatments, I agree with many of points you made. I have also been able to focus much attention on preventative physical therapy. Thanks for bringing light to this topic and hopefully more patient awareness to the advantages to such clinics.
Sincerely,
Joanna
