    As a former employee, I expressed concern regarding fraudulent activity in the chicago group. I additionally witnessed the company’s focus in Tampa switch from patient centered to money-centric. This was in direct correlation with a merger with Benchmark. Physio was a great company till it became greedy

    Good interview Dan. I agree whole heartedly. The demand for good therapists continue to grow. Key factors we’ve seen are the continued challenges with small graduating classes, the recent transition of several PT programs moving to Doctorate level degrees hence no graduating classes in 2010 and 2011 depending on school, big percentage of therapists being female and getting out of industry or significantly reducing hours, and of course the human race living longer and benefiting from PT and OT.

    Careers in PT, OT, and even SLP very promising despite HC reform….. Great career path…..
